Dr. Law-Ham graduated in 1983 with a BS in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine and in 1990 from the University of Lowell-Massachusetts with a MS in Nursing - Family NP. She has worked in many different settings as an RN including, inpatient medical-surgical and maternal-child health units. Dr. Law-Ham became a nurse educator in 2003 "officially" though has always sought to mentor students even in her earliest experiences as a nurse. She has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in nursing in face-to-face and on-line settings. Dr. Law-Ham completed her Ph.D. through Capella University in Fall, 2014. Her dissertation entitled, ' An examination of clinical instructor effectiveness based on educational preparation as perceived by nursing students' investigated student perceived differences of clinical faculty teaching effectiveness based on instructor degree preparation.
I also serve as a mentor to students in the School of Nursing and Population Health who are applying to the Center to Advance Interprofessional Education and Practice (CAIEP) for the Interprofessional Honors Distinction. The distinction recognizes students' interprofessional activity and learning while at 91直播视频and is a nationally recognized micro credential.
