Prior to teaching at UNE, Caroline worked in a variety of clinical settings as an Occupational Therapist, mostly focused on adult physical rehabilitation. Caroline has a special interest in working with adults recovering from poly-trauma, neuro-trauma and brain injury. In addition to clinical work, Caroline serves as a volunteer leader and active member of the Maine Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association, working on issues related to Occupational Therapy advocacy and leadership.

Caroline also serves as a mentor to students in the MSOT program who are applying to the Center to Advance Interprofessional Education and Practice (CAIEP) for the Interprofessional Honors Distinction. The distinction recognizes students' interprofessional activity and learning while at 91直播视频and is a nationally recognized micro-credential.
