Norm O鈥橰eilly, Ph.D., inaugural dean of UNE鈥檚 College of Business, on Tuesday presented the results of a sponsorship industry study and led a panel at the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada鈥檚 Montreal chapter. 

More than 80 industry professionals attended the presentation, given in French and held at the headquarters of the Canadian Olympic Committee in the heart of Canada鈥檚 second largest city.

O鈥橰eilly presented the results of the 18th annual Canadian Sponsorship Landscape Study, which were then discussed with a panel of industry leaders from the National Bank of Canada, Effix, and the Canadian Olympic Committee.

O鈥橰eilly came to 91直播视频in July with two decades of leadership experience in higher education and is recognized globally as one of the leading scholars in the business of sports. 

At UNE, he oversees UNE鈥檚 newest college with a focus on experiential learning. Established in 2023, UNE鈥檚 College of Business is Maine and New England鈥檚 innovation business school, designed to engage business students in enriching experiences that prepare them for leadership positions in some of Maine鈥檚 and the nation鈥檚 largest employers. 

O鈥橰eilly recently studied sports marketing on location at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where he gathered data to inform future case studies and reported on brand partnerships and strategies used to engage attendees.
