Marilyn R. Gugliucci, Ph.D., of the 91直播视频 College of Osteopathic Medicine鈥檚 Division of Geriatric Medicine, presented four research projects at the International Association for Gerontology and Geriatrics World Congress, the largest worldwide conference on aging.

This year鈥檚 conference was held in San Francisco, California. It was the first time in 30 years the International Congress was held in the United States. The theme was 鈥淕lobal Aging and Health: Bridging Science, Policy and Practice.鈥

Gugliucci gave four presentations. Two oral presentations included the, 鈥48-Hour Hospice Home Immersion Project: Innovative Medical Education Research鈥 during a paper session titled, 鈥淯nique Perspectives in Understanding End-Of-Life Care Experiences.鈥 She also co-chaired a symposium in which she presented, 鈥淕erontological Competencies, Program Development, and Accreditation For Gerontology Education.鈥 Two poster presentations included, 鈥淚n-Home Balance Improvement and Falls Prevention Programming鈥 and 鈥淭he Mentoring Switch: Two-Way Mentorship Program.鈥 The abstracts for each presentation were published in the International Association for Gerontology and Geriatrics journal, Innovation aging.
