91直播视频Faculty Mini-Grant recipients announced
The Research and Scholarship subcommittee of the 91直播视频Faculty Assembly (UFA) and the Office of Research and Scholarship are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014-2015 faculty mini-grant program. Available at $3,500 and $10,000 tiers, mini-grants assist faculty at all stages to develop new projects and lines of inquiry.
Edward Bilsky, Ph.D., vice president for Research and Scholarship commented, 鈥淭he R&S mini grant program demonstrates one of many commitments of resources that the 91直播视频 is making to develop a robust and broad research and scholarship portfolio. The projects selected for funding represent many different disciplines and approaches, with many of the requests directly benefiting students who work alongside the faculty mentors.鈥
Cathrine Frank, Ph.D., chair of the UFA Research and Scholarship committee added, 鈥淏ecause faculty in the arts, humanities and social sciences tend not to need expensive equipment, mini-grants can provide substantial support for anything from travel to archives and libraries to the purchase of software.鈥
